The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE™ Lineman’s Impact Auger Bit is engineered to deliver cleaner, faster holes in wooden utility poles. Its precision single spur design scores the hole edge for a smoother finish, allowing bolts to pass through cleanly without obstruction. The bit is coated with a reinforced anti-friction PTFE layer for smoother drilling and easier extraction from dense wood.
Featuring an aggressive feed screw and sharp cutting edge, the bit actively pulls itself through wood for faster performance. An optimized wide flute geometry efficiently ejects chips, reducing clogs and speeding up each pass. Designed with a solid stemmed core, this bit offers added strength for high-torque drilling conditions in the field.
