Overview
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 7-1/4" Circular Saw is engineered for carpenters, remodelers, and general contractors who need cordless portability without sacrificing cutting power. It pairs Milwaukee’s POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence to provide consistent, high-performance cutting in a lightweight, durable package.
Key Performance & Motor
- POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor — Provides 5,800–6,000 RPM and maintains speed under load for corded-equivalent performance.
- Longer tool life — Brushless design and robust internal components yield up to 3× longer tool life versus competitive designs.
- REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence — Protects tool and battery from overload, overheating, and over-discharge through system communication.
Cutting Capacity & Productivity
- 7-1/4" blade — Full-size blade delivering the depth and speed pros expect.
- 2-5/8" max cut depth at 90° — Cuts through common framing and 3x material in one pass.
- Bevel capacity — Up to 50° with detents at 22.5° and 45° for quick angle work.
- Depth detents — Quick stops at 1/2", 3/4", and 1-1/2".
- Battery runtime — When paired with an M18 REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ HD12.0, expect up to 750 cuts per charge (battery sold separately).
Design & Durability
- All-magnesium guards and shoe — Maximum durability with reduced weight.
- Lightweight for its class — Approximately 9 lbs with battery pack (varies by battery), offering reduced user fatigue and easier handling on the jobsite.
- Electric brake — Stops the blade quickly for added safety and productivity.
Jobsite Convenience
- Integrated LED light — Increases visibility in dim conditions.
- Rafter hook — Easy storage and quick access while on ladders or beams.
- Integrated dust port — Includes a vacuum adapter to help keep the work area cleaner.
- Right-side blade configuration — Improves line-of-cut visibility for most users.
Battery Compatibility
The saw accepts all M18 REDLITHIUM™ batteries (sold separately). Choose the battery capacity that matches your production needs and budget — higher-capacity packs deliver longer runtime for intensive jobs.
